The European Parliament approves its position on the electricity reform that discards the caps on renewables

The Industry Committee of the European Parliament has approved this Wednesday (by 55 votes in favor, 15 against and two abstentions) its negotiating position on the reform of the European electricity market. The main novelty is that it does not include the cap on revenues from low-cost energies (renewable and nuclear) defended by the third vice president, Teresa Ribera.
