Spain overtakes Germany as third largest exporter of European electricity

Spain stood in the first half as the third largest exporter of electricity in Europe, surpassing Germany. According to a report by energy data analyst EnAppSys, the country closed the first half of the year with a net export balance of 8.8 terawatt hours (TWh).
