Six ways to eliminate air pollution

Since the Industrial Revolution, humans have emitted more than 2,000 gigatons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. (One gigaton equals one billion metric tons.) A lot, right? The climate emergency is here and this trend must be urgently reversed. A recently released report by the World Resources Institute (WRI), the global non-governmental research organization that seeks to create conditions of equity and prosperity through the sustainable management of natural resources proposes six ways to remove carbon pollution from the atmosphere.
