Possible reversal of EU climate policies, with the support of Madrid and Catalonia

A disturbing background noise has begun to be heard in European political circles. More and more regions and even states are questioning the pace of measures to curb climate change or preserve air quality. At the moment, the European Union is the leading power in the adoption of environmental and climate policies on the planet, but this could cease to be the case if some proposals aimed at “making this strategy more flexible” or “softening” prosper, even from the president of the EC, Ursula von der Leyen.
