In 2025 a new emission regulation comes into force: more than half of the European fleet will be prior to the new Euro 7

In 2025, the new European Euro 7 emissions regulation will come into force, replacing the current Euro 6. In that same year, it is estimated that 60% of the vehicles circulating in the European Union are prior to 2014, that is, they have been manufactured even before the emission regulations in force today. According to calculations by the European Automobile Manufacturers Association, this 60% of vehicles that will be at least a decade old by 2025, will produce about 43% of Europe’s nitrogen oxide emissions.
