G7: Tackling vulnerability and climate change

We, the G7 finance ministers and central bank governors, met in Washington, D.C., along with the presidents of the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank Group, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, and the Financial Stability Board.

G7: We will combat vulnerability and climate change. The G7 is an informal forum made up of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States. The G7 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors meetings are attended by the President of the Eurogroup, the European Commission and the European Central Bank on behalf of the European Union.
We discuss recent developments in the global economic and financial sector and reiterate our determination to maintain macroeconomic and financial stability. Global growth has proven more resilient than expected. Inflation remains high and central banks remain firmly committed to achieving price stability.
