Four countries urge EU to set deadline for new trucks emitting_CO2

The Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark and Luxembourg have urged the European Union to set a date by which new trucks and buses sold in Europe must generate zero carbon dioxide emissions.

The European Commission plans to propose stricter rules on CO2 emissions from heavy-duty vehicles next month to meet the bloc’s climate change targets.
