Europe approves the reform of the emissions market: in 2027 it will affect transport and buildings and the border adjustment will not be until 2034

They create a fund to help citizens most affected by energy and transport poverty, which will have a financing of 86,700 million euros

The member states of the European Union and the European Parliament, co-legislators of the community club, reached an agreement in the early hours of Sunday on the reform of the emissions trading system (ETS), which since 2005 puts a price on greenhouse gas emissions released by energy-intensive industries and the power generation sector.
