From Berlin to Baku: Three decades of climate summits until COP29 to save the planet

From Berlin to Baku: thirty years of climate summits since 1995, called “COP”, will put the finishing touch this November in the capital of Azerbaijan, with COP29, to a long path of this type of conclaves at the highest political level, held by the different continents to try to reverse global warming and save the planet.

For two weeks, countries will negotiate how to increase ambition to increase global financial flows in the face of climate change, which will be the star topic of the twenty-ninth annual United Nations climate change conference (COP29), in Baku, from November 11 to 22.
