New twist of the European Parliament to climate policy: the pace of decarbonization is tightened
The European Parliament (EP) on Tuesday backed a series of revisions proposed by the European Commission to raise the objectives of the legislative package ‘Fit for 55’, the great roadmap of the European Union (EU) to decarbonize the bloc and reduce CO2 emissions by at least 55% by 2030 compared to 1990.
