Brussels says that the extension of the Iberian ceiling cannot exceed December

The European Commission transferred to Spain and Portugal that an eventual six-month extension of the so-called Iberian mechanism that limits the price of gas used to produce electricity could not, for the moment, go beyond December of this year, as confirmed to EFE by several diplomatic sources.
