11 new projects approved for line 1 of the Industrial Decarbonisation PERTE

The Ministry of Industry and Tourism has provisionally approved 11 new projects on line 1 of the Industrial Decarbonisation PERTE for a total of 28.6 million euros, which will mean a reduction of 175,600 tonnes of CO₂ per year.

Endowed with 1,000 million euros, line 1 of the Industrial Decarbonisation PERTE is intended for comprehensive action for decarbonisation, supporting the actions carried out by national industries to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Between grants and loans, a total of more than 478 million euros worth of aid have been granted to 88 projects of the Decarbonisation PERTE between final and provisional resolutions. The paper sector has received 41.5 million euros from the Decarbonisation PERTE. In addition, it has been the beneficiary of other lines of industrial policy, which have supported 659 companies with a total of 305 million euros in grants and 55 million in loans.
