$10 trillion must be mobilized to reach the global renewable energy target by 2030

Global Renewables Alliance launches the Time 4 Action campaign to help realise the ambition of Double Down, Triple Up. The global target of tripling renewable energy capacity was agreed by all countries at COP28 with the support of international energy institutions. However, with less than seven years to go before the deadline, there is an urgent need for action. The Global Renewable Energy Alliance today launches the “Time 4 Action” campaign, calling for action to mobilize $10 trillion in public and private investments to triple renewable capacity and double energy efficiency by 2030, and establish policy frameworks that pave the way to reach 11,000 GW of renewables by the end of this decade.
