Climate misinformation increasingly manifests itself through tactics such as skepticism, catastrophizing, and the selective use of evidence. These narratives are propagated in an ecosystem characterized by amplification, segmentation, recirculation, and the use of emotionally charged material. As a result, misleading claims can reach the public more quickly than scientific rebuttals. Criticism does not equate to disinformation.
