The Regulation on packaging and packaging waste includes a new definition of producer which, although compatible with the definition of producer in the Royal Decree on packaging, has some particularities. After receiving numerous emails requesting clarifications regarding the subject obliged to register, the Sub-Directorate General for Waste proceeds to update the interpretative note in this regard, including particular casuistry.
