Clean energy technologies in the European Union. Implications for quality jobs, skills and a just transition. IEA.

The European Union is transforming its economy to achieve climate neutrality. It is therefore necessary to accelerate the EU’s clean energy transition and further reduce its dependence on imported fossil fuels and its vulnerability to fluctuations in energy prices. This study examines these dimensions by analysing four clean energy technologies: wind energy, solar photovoltaic (PV), heat pumps and batteries.
