Human rights versus competitiveness.

Fear of the cost to competitiveness has been a persistent barrier to corporate action on human rights. UNDP decided to examine this concern and the results provide evidence that this fear is unfounded. The question is no longer whether companies can afford to respect human rights, but “How can strong human rights performance be leveraged to gain strategic advantage?”
