Achieving the European Union’s climate goals requires a transformation of transport. Clean hydrogen and hydrogen-based fuels will play a key role in hard-to-electrify segments. The development of hydrogen infrastructure for transport will be essential, as the current network would benefit from increased financial backing to decarbonise the transport sector.
