MITECO awards €32 million to transform the textile sector towards sustainability and the circular economy

The Biodiversity Foundation, under the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO), has concluded the process of resolving allegations corresponding to the call for subsidies aimed at promoting the circular economy in the textile, fashion, clothing and footwear sectors. As a result, the proposal of beneficiaries has been made public, with details on the selected projects and the amounts allocated.

Amounts and intensity of aid

The selected projects will receive grants ranging from 100,000 euros to 5.3 million, depending on the nature of the project and the beneficiary entity.
