Global energy outlook.

There are three themes to highlight: energy security, which corresponds to the core of the IEA’s mandate and the imperatives of the present, given the growing risks in the Middle East, the prospects for clean energy transitions, which have accelerated rapidly in recent years but need to move much faster, and finally uncertainty, a factor always present in any prospective analysis, but particularly visible this year.
