Eighth EU Environment Action Programme.

The program includes a long-term goal: to live well within planetary boundaries. It also sets out six thematic priority objectives and the conditions for achieving them. It is based on the European Green Deal and aims to accelerate the green transition, as well as protect, restore and improve the state of the environment. The 8th EAP Decision requires that progress towards the objectives be monitored.
