The Government maneuvers to prevent a millionaire fraud of pirate companies in the sale of fuels

Ecological Transition prepares a new regulation of biofuels that seeks to hinder the non-payment of sanctions by companies that disappear and return to operate under another name in wholesale sales.

The oil companies have been sounding the alarm about the existence of millionaire frauds committed by ‘pirate’ companies in the wholesale of fuels. The complaint is persistent and comes from afar, the giants of the sector grouped in the AOP employers (Repsol, Cepsa, BP, Galp or Saras) and the independent groups integrated in the UPI association have intensified their complaints in recent months. The Government maneuvers to curb the risk of fraud in one of the business areas that have focused the complaints of operators in the sector.
