Europe says goodbye to the Energy Charter

The EU has not reached agreement to reform the Treaty and therefore its complete exit will be announced this week.

The European Union says enough is enough. The Energy Charter Treaty has arrived until 2023, at least informationally speaking. What has been the headline. Another thing is then what is done and how it is done.
The European Commission is preparing to announce this week its withdrawal from the Energy Charter Treaty. According to Bloomberg and Reuters a few weeks ago, the European Commission believes it is time to announce it because it is impossible to reach an agreement to reform the treaty.
