Ribera and Timmermans call for more climate ambition to reduce_CO2 emissions and a just ecological transition

The EU and Spain believe that COP28, whose president is climatically “ambitious”, will be “the most significant” since the Paris Summit

The EU Vice-President for the Green Deal, Frans Timmermans, and the Third Vice-President of the Government and Minister for the Ecological Transition, Teresa Ribera, want to increase international climate ambition to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve air quality and curb the effects of climate change through an ecological transition that must be “social” and “fair”.
