Agrees to postpone ban on fluorinated gases in 2024

Supermarket chains can breathe easy. Brussels has met the demands of the sector and postpones for six years the ban on using fluorinated gases in its refrigeration systems that was going to come into force from 2024 and that, according to the companies, could mean the closure of 24,000 food distribution points of sale only in Spain.
