Hydrogen Europe’s position on the revision of the Industrial Emissions Directive.

The current context requires the EU to act urgently to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and fossil fuels, while supporting a strong EU industrial base and preserving the EU’s advantage in technologies such as clean hydrogen. This reflects well on the ambition of the REPowerEU strategy and the Net Zero Industry Act, and the revision of permitting rules for renewables aims to accelerate that process.
