The price of carbon emissions in Europe exceeds the barrier of 100 Euros

The benchmark price for carbon allowances in Europe surpassed the 100 euro ($106) per tonne mark last Tuesday in the EUA contract climbing to a maximum of 101.25 euros, hitting polluting industries with the highest cost yet for their carbon dioxide emissions.
