A Swiss company extracts_CO2 from the atmosphere to store it underground: Microsoft or Shopify have already paid to offset their emissions

The Swiss company Climeworks claims to have managed to extract_CO2 from the atmosphere and store it underground, as the company itself said yesterday in a press release.

This is the first time that this process has been verified by third parties. “The certification is based on a rigorous methodology of direct air capture and storage,” confirms Climeworks.
