Spain sees Brussels “receptive” to prolong the Iberian exception

The Government of Spain sees the European Commission “receptive” to its request to extend the so-called “Iberian exception”, which establishes a cap on gas used to generate electricity and expires on May 31 after a year of application since the first approval of Brussels, according to diplomatic sources.
