Global Status of Renewables Report 2020 (GSR2020)

REN21’s Global Renewables Status report provides an overview of global developments in renewable energy markets, investments and policies in 2019. It reveals that the progress of renewable energy is limited to the electricity sector and that the share of renewable energy in heating, cooling and transport remains far behind due to a lack of political support and the slow development of new technologies.
