COP25 in search of lost time for action

The Wuppertal Institute presents the analysis of the results of the 25th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP25) that was held from December 2 to 15, 2019 in Madrid, chaired by Chile. Not only did the conference fail to meet growing public demand for swift and strong climate action, it also failed to deliver on its formal mandate to finalize the Paris rulebook.
