Emissions Gap Report 2019

The 2019 Emissions Gap Report presents the latest data on the gap between estimated emissions levels for 2030 and the levels required to meet the 1.5°C and 2°C temperature targets of the Paris Agreement. The report considers different scenarios and for the first time, analyzes how big the annual cuts would have to be between 2020 and 2030 to keep the planet on track to meet the Paris targets.

The report presents ways to close the gap in the energy, transport and buildings sector, and the efficiency in the use of materials such as iron, steel and cement.
