Climate finance provided and mobilized by developed countries: aggregate trends updated with 2019 data

At COP15 in Copenhagen, developed countries agreed that at least $100 billion a year, from both public and private sources, would be given to developing nations starting in 2020. However, despite this promise, the stated goal was never achieved. The OECD Report published in September revealed that “climate finance provided and mobilized by developed countries for developing countries amounted to $79.6 billion in 2019.”
