Global Methane Commitment

The Commitment is intended to catalyze global action and strengthen support for existing international methane emission reduction initiatives to promote technical and political work that will serve to support countries’ national actions. The Commitment also recognizes the essential roles played by the private sector, development banks, financial institutions and philanthropy in supporting the implementation of the Commitment.
