Renewables 2021. Analysis and forecasts until 2026

Growth in renewable capacity is forecast to accelerate over the next five years, as renewable electricity capacity is projected to increase by more than 60% between 2020 and 2026. Overall, China will remain the leader for the next five years, followed by Europe, the United States, and India. These four markets alone account for 80% of renewable capacity expansion worldwide.
